Mendeola MD4S-2D Transaxle

The Mendeola MD4S-2D is often referred to as the "2D" (second design) by racers and duners alike.  The picture below shows the transaxle kit which California Performance assembles with super strong Weddle racing gears using the ratios of your choice.  More recent developments by Funco enhances main bearing life with an optional nose cone main shaft bearing support.  Learn more about the MD4S-2D

bullet 'EXTREME DUTY' Weddle transmission gear sets.  1st, 2nd, & 3rd gears are extra wide
bullet Hobbed from En36 nickel alloy and designed solely for the MD4-2D
bullet Twenty-nine spline input shaft provides increased torque capacity and torsional memory
bullet Larger mainshaft journal and bearing, 1.000" OD
bullet Billet 1st & 2nd synchro hub.  Gear clearances are machined in.  No shims
bullet Billet 3rd & 4th synchro hub
bullet One piece shafts with coarse pitch splines.
bullet Billet Aluminum reverse adjusting block
bullet Can be run upside-down for low engine road race applications
bullet Supports some applications up to 500HP range (sand applications)
